George Călinescu


George Călinescu has more than twenty-five years of experience in banking and auditing. His tenure at BT began in 2013, and he is part of one of the youngest leadership teams in the Romanian banking sector. His management approach is to support the coordinated team to achieve excellence.
He holds a fellow member position with ACCA, one of the largest organisations of chartered accountants in the world. In 2019, 2024, and 2025, he was named the best Chief Financial Officer in Investor Relations at the yearly gala organized by The Romanian Investor Relations Association.
In 2025, he was elected to the Board of the CFO Club Romania.
He was born in 1975 in Iași.
